Upcoming Appearances
We're gearing up for our final appearances of 2009! If you want to see us in 2009, these upcoming conventions will be your final chance to do so. If not, there's always 2010, which we're planning on making as crazy as this year, as far as travel goes. Just make sure you see us before 2012, 'cause you know what those Mayans said would happen in 2012. Come see us before the end of the world!
Bakersfield Comic-Con – Sunday, November 8 – 10:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
We had a ton of fun and met some great people at the premiere Bakersfield Comic-Con. We're back with the merch this year, plus James and I were invited to do a panel! It would be cooler than pudding pops to see some Lunatics in the audience!
11:00 am: How to SELF PUBLISH Comics
(or… If Marvel won't hire you… do it yourself!)
Ever wanted to be a comic book artist? We'll hear from Mike Hampton (Hot Zombie Chicks, Capt. A's guide to Dating) and Rebecca Hicks (Little Vampires, Project Elohim) with tips and insites on publishing your own comics.
If you're in SoCal or NorCal, it's worth the drive to Bakersfield to attend this show. Seriously fun!
Qualcomm Arts and Crafts Festival – Thursday, November 12 – 11:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
This is only open to Qualcomm employees and their families, but I know there are a lot of Lunatics up in the Qcomm!
Dallas Webcomics Expo – Saturday, November 14 – 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
DWEX is a brand new show for us, and our first as webcomickers . . . webcomicants . . . webcomicians? We do love our Texas Lunatics, and would love for you to come out and see us!
Little Vampire Webcomic
The Little Vampire webcomic is updated every Wednesday. Be sure to make it a part of your Wednesday routine.
Halloween
It's no big surprise to anyone that knows me that Halloween is my favorite holiday. But just when I think Halloween can't get more awesome, the wonderful Elijah dresses up as a Little Vampire for this year's trick-or-treating.

If you're on Facebook, become friends with Asagi DuLacar! Elijah's mom, Barbara, created a site chronicling the adventures of her Little Vampire plush doll, whom she named Asagi. Even if you're not on Facebook, check out the pictures Barbara has posted on the site. Asagi attacking the pumpkins because he thought they were huge blood oranges? Awesome!
Oh, but it gets better! My mom was already supreme for making Little Vampire flags. But she's nacho supreme for incorporating one of those flags into a tabletop display that included Kermit the Frog wearing Halloween socks.

Gotta love the Muppets.
